U-Bar System

The new u-bar hardware for traditional bow risers is the most effective way we have found to incorporate a take down system in a long bow style riser. Roll back the rubber grip, then with the palm of your hand bump the bow apart. It is easy and quick. The system is simple yet it works perfectly. It allows you to keep your traditional style complete. We are using the u-bar in our Great Plains longbow and our 60-inch long curve. All of our wood combinations are available in these bows. Phenolic and diamond wood are used in the risers for strength. This is necessary for the u-bar system. Click here for printable instructions.
